Thanksgiving Baskets of Love

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP SOMEONE IN NEED THIS YEAR, we invite you to participate in the Michelle's Wish Foundation - Baskets of Love Program this Thanksgiving Season! Help families in need through the Michelle's Wish Foundation's annual food drive!

Thanksgiving Baskets of Love will present area families with food and other items for a Thanksgiving feast and everyday necessities!

THERE ARE 3 WAYS TO HELP:

Fill A Basket

"Fill-up"...and drop off any standard laundry basket (prior to November 20, 2017, between the hours of 8 am - 5 pm weekdays) to be given to area families and area hunger centers serving them. Items to include in the basket are detailed below. Register to "Fill A Basket" online or by phone at 440-247-7100.

Buy A Basket

A donation of $25.00 or more will help ensure a family is well supplied this Season! A $100.00 donation will "buy a basket" for a family in need. These funds will be used to purchase all perishable items for delivery (including a turkey, juice, rolls, potatoes, pie etc.) and to fill extra baskets to ensure we help as many area families as possible. "Buy A Basket" online or by phone at 440-247-7100.

Deliver A Basket

On the day before Thanksgiving (Wednesday, November 22, 2017, as Thanksgiving is 11/23), our delivery team will: i) show up, ii) load up and iii) deliver! Register to "Deliver A Basket" online or by by phone at 440-247-7100.

The list below includes food items needed for a Thanksgiving meal, as well as some everyday necessities. These items should be placed in the laundry basket you provide. Once filled, your Thanksgiving baskets should be returned (to 6240 SOM Center Road, Suite 210, Solon, OH) on or before Monday before Thanksgiving Day.

Items Used to "Fill a Basket"

1. canned soup

2. canned green beans, corn & peas

3. stuffing mix - 2 boxes

4. canned yams

5. Bisquick or cornmeal

6. turkey gravy

7. a box or bag of rice (white or brown)

8. macaroni & cheese - 2 boxes

9 jelly/ jam

10. peanut butter

11. cranberry sauce

12. coffee or tea

13. cereal

14. canned tuna

15. any personalized item(s) *

*Personalize your basket, if you choose, with a Thanksgiving prayer, children's artwork, table decoration or something special handmade or homemade for its recipient & family to enjoy just from you!

PLEASE NOTE: ALL PERISHABLE GOODS (INCLUDING TURKEYS, MILK/JUICE, ROLLS, POTATOES, ETC.) WILL BE ADDED TO THE BASKET ON THE DAY OF DELIVERY TO AVOID SPOIL.
